- ABUSA member, member of Oberlin College Choir, member of SASA, member of Soccer club, member of Badminton club, member of Brotherhood.
Jackie Brick

- After graduation, I intend to work in the field of public health.
- Why do I want to serve on the Student Advisory Board?
- My goal on the Student Advisory Board is to bring the administration’s goals closer to student needs and to increase student awareness of administration’s intentions. I hope putting in the work to better student and administration communication will result in better experiences for all my fellow Obies.

- I’ve never eaten cereal with milk.
- What else I’m involved in
- I am the founder of the Adopted Obies Club, Treasure of the Oberlin Buddhist Fellowship, Membership coordinator for Pyle Co-Op, and involved in Survivors of Sexual Harm and Allies.
Jackson Davies

- My professional goal as of right now would be to serve as an environmental consultant for companies. I would help them run their businesses in a sustainable way and even profit off of their sustainable efforts.
- Why do I want to serve on the Student Advisory Board?
- One of the main reasons I want to serve this board is because I think Oberlin is in a pivotal point for change. I feel that the student advisory board is the perfect place to see what change is already happening at Oberlin, for better or for worse, and talk with my peers about what change we would like to see, as well as, how to approach making those changes in the best way possible.

- I have a cat who loves to play fetch!!

- I am a member of the men's lacrosse team.
Lily Gonzalez

- Professional goal
- I aspire to work in the field of finance, specifically sustainable finance. Coming from a strong environmental background and a newfound appreciation for economics and finance, I hope to find a way to combine these two passions to better support our national economic and environmental well-being, both right now and in the future!
- Why do I want to serve on the Student Advisory Board?
- The reason I wanted to serve on the Student Advisory Board is because there is an incredibly demanding need for student voices to be amplified and heard, especially among BIPOC student organizations. As a part of so many of these communities and organizations on campus, I felt that securing a seat on the Student Advisory Board would be my way of contributing to the ongoing movement of BIPOC solidarity and recognition at Oberlin.

- I can play 4 instruments: guitar, piano, violin, and trumpet!

- Manager at the Cat in the Cream Coffeehouse, treasurer of La Alianza Latinx, digital marketing Officer of the Women & Non-Binary in Finance & Economics collective, controller for OST, and member of the MRC Council.

- My professional goal is to get an MD/PhD in endocrinology.
- Why do I want to serve on the Student Advisory Board?
- Communication is very important to me, and after serving on the Student Senate last year I realized that unfortunately it is not always obtainable for all. I would like to be a helpful medium in making all oberlin students voices heard, especially about issues pertaining to health and safety.

- I want to advocate for my class, and make sure that issues that affect a lot of people are heard by parts of the administration.

- I am from Amish country in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

- I am a member of the varsity Men’s swim team.

- After completing my studies, I intend to dedicate myself to working with nonprofits, focusing on the undocumented and Latinx community. I have various missions however I hope to ensure that individuals of lower income get to have access to accurate and affordable healthcare.
- Why do I want to serve on the Student Advisory Board?
- Voicing my peers allows me to foster a supportive academic environment, where students feel heard, valued, and empowered. By actively engaging with the college administration, I hope to advocate for policies and initiatives that promote inclusivity. Overall, it is an opportunity for me to channel my enthusiasm for positive change, collaborate with fellow students and faculty, and work towards creating a campus community where individuals can thrive academically and personally.

- I want to bring the perspectives of international students on the board, share their unique experiences and hopefully contribute to making Oberlin more welcoming and supportive to international students.

- I enjoy walking long distances, and the more tired I get the more I feel inspired to keep going.
- What else I’m involved in
- Residential assistant at East Hall, peer career advisor and peer mentor at the Center of Student Success. I am also a Bonner Scholar.

- After graduation I hope to attend law school and eventually run for public office to help better the lives of those in my community.

- I enjoy being involved with any community I am apart of and having the ability to promote positive change, the Student Advisory Board provided both of those things.

- My team has nearly won Slow Train Trivia every time we’ve played.

- President of the Oberlin Moot Court Team, vice president of the Oberlin Model United Nations Team, and a tour guide and ambassador for the Oberlin admissions office.
