CIE Welcome Letter

Welcome, new Obies! We are so glad you have chosen Oberlin College & Conservatory.

The Center for Intercultural Engagement (CIE) is a hub for fostering diversity, inclusion, and cultural understanding on campus. We, the CIE, are comprised of four different offices; the Multicultural Resource Commons (MRC), the Office for Disability and Access (ODA), the Office of Religious and Spiritual Life (ORSL), and International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS). Through various programs and initiatives, the CIE provides a supportive space for students from all backgrounds to come together and find a place of belonging.

Be on the lookout for events and opportunities posted in the daily Campus Digest, our Instagram pages, and our website. Programs and services are free! Whether you join a Dialogue Group, participate in the Executive Functioning Tutoring Program, attend a social event, or just hang out, you are always welcome.

You can find our offices, testing center, and lounge spaces on the first and second floors of Wilder Hall. Stop by to see us during orientation week! We hope to help you establish meaningful connections and foster relationships in the early stages of your time here at Oberlin College & Conservatory.

See you soon!
