At the Center for Intercultural Engagement (CIE), we strive to create a sense of inclusion and belonging by recognizing, embracing, and celebrating the intersectionality of student identities at Oberlin.

The CIE’s five offices foster a sense of belonging for each and every Obie. Our goal is to create a welcoming environment for any student, whether they identify with one, any, or all areas that we support.

We encourage all students to visit us—the center and our individual offices—to learn more about how we can support you.

CIE offers speaker engagements on a variety of topics related to diversity, equity, inclusion, and access. Whether you are looking for a guest speaker for a class, a panelist for an event, or a facilitator for a workshop, we are here to support your needs.

To request a speaker, please complete the Speaker Request Form. Submissions will be reviewed on a rolling basis, and we will do our best to accommodate your request based on speaker availability.
