There are many online resources for finding jobs and internships. Check out the diversity resources that CED offers to Oberlin students. When you search for opportunities, keep in mind your ability to accept a paid or unpaid position.

This is an up-to-date list organized by due date and containing scholarships at the regional, state and national levels

Finding Support for Unpaid Internships
As an undocumented student, you may also be managing financial stressors that make it difficult to pursue unpaid internships. There are some resources available at Oberlin and externally that may help you manage financial constraints. Additionally, you might also consider finding freelance, contract, or remote opportunities from organizations across the world.
- The MALDEF Scholarship Resource Guide - free, informative resource guide for students, parents, and educators with an extensive list of scholarships, including many that do not inquire about immigration status.
- DREAMERS Roadmap App - Dreamers Roadmap is a free national mobile app that helps undocumented students find scholarships to fund their higher education degree(s).
- Immigrants Rising List of Undergraduate Scholarships- an updated list of undergraduate scholarships that do not require proof of U.S. citizenship or legal permanent residency.
- La Unidad Latina Foundation – Educational scholarships are awarded to Hispanic students on a competitive basis and range from $250 to $1000.
- Fulfilling Our Dreams Scholarship –The Scholarships are open to all qualifying students regardless of immigration status.
- Comprehensive Guide to College for Undocumented and DACA Students – College Consensus guide will provide resources and information to help undocumented and DACA college students overcome the barriers they face to achieve success.
- Golden Door Scholars – Golden Door Scholars is a nonprofit that provides undocumented students with college scholarships and internship/career opportunities.

Join or research a few professional organizations. You’ll meet other people in your community and field who can share their knowledge and perspective. This will give you a better understanding of your identity in the workplace. This is not a comprehensive list. We encourage you to search for associations in relation to your field of interest.
