Research in the Elrod Lab

Research in the Elrod lab is aimed at understanding how human-caused emissions of certain chemicals leads to changes in the Earth's atmosphere that lead to air pollution and climate change.  Students use both state-of-the-art experimental instrumental techniques and the Oberlin supercomputer to investigate the details of their projects.
