Join us this summer for a learning experience that will immerse you in the focused, challenging and supportive atmosphere of Oberlin Conservatory of Music. Harp Professor Diane Evans has planned a program geared to advanced harp students, ages 15-18.
The Oberlin Summer Harp Intensive offers a week-long program featuring private lessons, master classes on your chosen solo and ensemble repertoire, and harp ensemble along with workshops exploring keys to efficient and effective practicing, technical problem-solving, embodiment of rhythm, and ensemble playing skills that go beyond delivering the correct notes and rhythms. A fresh approach to phrasing and lyricism will lead to standout solos, excerpts and orchestral cadenzas.
A final concert on Saturday concludes the program - family and friends invited to attend!
