Wilder Lounge Scheduling Policy

 Scheduling

  • All Wilder spaces must be reserved through EMS (Electronic Management System), the official scheduling program for Oberlin College.  Hand written notes on room cards do not constitute a reservation.  
  • Most Wilder rooms can be immediately reserved, however some spaces such as Wilder Main, Wilder Lobby, the Sco, the area beside the porch and the meditation room (325) must be requsted through EMS and approved by the Office of Student Involvement.
  • College offices, Active Student Organizations, and individuals (OC students, faculty and staff) can reserve or request rooms online, using the 'Request a Space' task available via OberView

  • Equipment and/or furniture in Wilder Hall lounges is not to be moved from room to room or into the hallway.
  • Equipment and/or furniture inside Wilder Hall is not to leave the building.

  • ExCo class requests are not processed until after ExCo registration takes place.
  • ExCo instructors can schedule rooms by using the 'request a space' task found on OberView.

Wilder  Hall has a kitchenette available for general use on the second floor, across from room 208.  This space can be reserved by using the 'request a space' task found on OberView.  Please be sure to clean up after yourself.

  • Information table spaces must FIRST be requested online through the 'request a space' task found on OberView.
  • Online requests for information tables in Wilder lobby, beside the Wilder porch, or in Wilder Bowl must be approved by the Office of Student Involvement.
  • When an information table request has been approved/confirmed, it is the responsibility of the requestor to order a table through the Facilities Operations work order system.   Tables in Wilder Main are NOT to be removed from the room.  NO Wilder tables can be moved outside (including the Wilder porch).
