Lab Crawl was well attended this semester with many students making stops at demonstrations held in one or more of 22 labs across campus.

Cindi Manning is a solutions-driven person, a trait that serves her well as a coordinator for several departments in the Science Center, but do you know about her most recent accomplishment? Find out in this installment of Who Am I?

Professor Todd Ganson’s problems of philosophy class in the Peters Hall Language Lab serves as inspiration for this week’s photo series.

“The best thing about my quarantine workday (besides hanging out with my toddler) is seeing my students, even though they are far away. The second best thing is seeing them when it's warm enough to be outside in my backyard in Lakewood. Students + sunshine (+ toddler) = happiness,” writes Kathryn Metz , assistant professor of ethnomusicology.

Winter Term is a time of year when Oberlin students are encouraged to conduct independent or group projects outside of courses related to their majors. Pursuits can be done on or off campus with students choosing to work almost anywhere on the map. This year we highlight some of the work by the more than 900 students who completed projects in Oberlin.

Six faculty members from the College of Arts and Sciences and the Conservatory of Music received Excellence in Teaching Awards for the 2017-2018 academic year.
