Residence Life offers Living Learning Communities that focus on learning and speaking a shared language. Students may be placed into these communities only after completing an application for their space of interest. To learn more about the application process, go to the housing options landing page.
The language-based living communities are overseen by Residence Life staff and faculty advisors from various language-based academic departments. These communities include:
- French House, or la Maison Francophone (Bailey)
- Spanish House, or La Casa Hispánica (Harvey)
- German House, or Max Kade Haus (Kade)
- Russian House (Allencroft)
*Please note that applications for these communities may be presented in the language of the community and some fluency may be expected to receive placement into the space.
