The Language, Identity-based, and Thematic Experience (LITE) Housing are intentional housing communities offered by the Office of Residence Life to provide diverse housing options that meet the needs of students from many different walks of life; the campus offers communities centered around language practice, personal identities, and shared interests. LITE Communities are available to both first-year and upper-class students.
Placement in any of the LITE communities requires the submission of a LITE Housing application. Faculty Directors and Residence Life staff in each community will review and rank the applications. Making selections for LITE communities is optional; you may select up to three (3) communities.
You will only be permitted to select housing in one. Priority in the application and selection process will be given to students who meet the published deadlines, and placements will be determined by the availability of space and each student's ranking order.
