Oberlin participates in the Yellow Ribbon Program. Eligible veterans and/or their dependents receive the Post 9/11 GI Bill® annual tuition and mandatory fee allowance, which is $27,120 for the 2023-24 academic year. In addition, the VA and Oberlin share the cost of the remaining tuition and mandatory fees through the Yellow Ribbon Program.
This funding will replace any merit-based scholarships a student was offered until the benefits have been exhausted. Need based federal financial aid as well as institutional aid will be awarded based on financial need.
