The HVAC Department consists of one manager and six HVAC technicians. They are responsible for the maintenance of all heating and comfort cooling systems on campus.
The Central Heating Plant (CHP) Department is managed by the HVAC manager and has five steam engineers that are responsible for maintaining the Oberlin College campus steam distribution system of more than 7 miles of buried pipe as well as the maintenance of the entire heating plant and all of its related equipment.
