Oberlin at Hidden Valley 2024: Student Concert II

Oberlin Conservatory students will perform works studied and created during their Chamber Music Intensive and TIMARA/Dance Collaboration. 

Performance time is 7:30 p.m. PST at the Hidden Valley Music Seminars Theater. This performance is in-person only. 

They will present selected movements from the chamber music repertory for strings and piano include J.S. Bach’s Goldberg Variations, L.v. Beethoven’s “Archduke” Trio and “Serioso” String Quartet (opus 95), A. Dvorák’s "Dumky" Trio, George Walker’s Lyric for Strings, and R. Schumann’s D Minor Piano Trio.

TIMARA students and their collaborative partners will share electroacoustic works for dance created in response to the prompt “frantic activity/sublime stillness.”
