Oberlin at Hidden Valley 2024: Oberlin Sonny Rollins Jazz Ensemble Concert

The Oberlin Sonny Rollins Jazz Ensemble, led by Oberlin Conservatory professor of jazz guitar Bobby Ferrazza, was established at Oberlin through the support of the legendary saxophonist, who charges the group’s standout student performers to serve humanity through music. Personnel in the ensemble is selected each fall through audition.

The ensemble will perform new works by members of the band as well as original arrangements of compositions by Sonny Rollins and jazz standards by other artists.

Performance time is 7:30 p.m. PST at the Hidden Valley Music Seminars Theater. This performance is in-person only.
