Lavender Graduation

The Lavender Graduation Ceremony is a tradition at Oberlin College and Conservatory which celebrates the accomplishments of LGBTQ+ graduates as they finish their time here on campus. All LGBTQ+ graduates are invited to participate. There is no cost to participate in this ceremony. This is not an official graduation ceremony; participating in this celebration does not equate to graduating.

Students, faculty, and staff are warmly welcome to attend. To ensure a supportive and affirming environment, we ask that any guests, including friends and family, be personally invited by a graduating student participating in the ceremony.
