Join us at Hallock Auditorium as Oberlin biology professor Gaybe Moore interviews alum Eric Haag ’90 on the topic, “Gender Justice and the Sexual Binary.” A reception will follow.

Eric Haag ’90, PhD, is an evolutionary biologist studying the evolution of sex using nematodes as a model system. He is a professor of biology and director of the Biological Sciences Graduate Program at the University of Maryland. His forthcoming book, The Other Big Bang: The story of Sex and Its Human Legacy, will be released in December.

Haag is also leading a seminar titled “Of Oxygen and Orgasms: Two Billion Years of Sex and the Evolution of Human Traits”  on Friday, November 22.
