Security Awareness Training Instructions
On November 13, faculty and students will be invited to participate in Oberlin’s Annual Security Awareness Training.
This essential program is designed to enhance our collective cybersecurity knowledge and practices. You will receive your invitation via email on November 13, and from that date, you will have a 30-day window to complete the training. The session is approximately 20 minutes long, allowing you to easily fit it into your schedule. We appreciate your commitment to keeping our digital environment safe and secure.
1. Check your inbox for an email from no-reply@wizer-training.com. This email contains the link to the cybersecurity awareness training program. Click on the “CONTINUE” button to proceed.
2. After clicking the “CONTINUE” button from the email, you will be redirected to the sign-in page of the training platform. Click on the blue “Sign In” button to proceed.
3. Enter your ObieID and password if you are asked to do so. Click the blue “Sign In” button to continue to the training platform.
4. Once you have successfully signed in, you will land on the main dashboard. Locate the course titled “Oberlin’s Annual Security Awareness Training” and click on it to begin your training.
5. Click on the green play button labeled “Will You Fall For This Phishing Attack?” to start the course. As you progress through the training, the icons on the progress bar will update accordingly. Keep an eye on the “30 DAYS LEFT” notification on the top right corner to track the remaining time for this training.
