Parking and Traffic Restrictions for “Walkin’ in a Winter Oberlin” Festival

The city of Oberlin will host the “Walkin’ in a Winter Oberlin” Festival downtown on Saturday, December 7, from 6 to 8 p.m.

Traffic and Parking Updates:

West College Street Traffic: Regular traffic will be permitted on West College Street until 2 p.m. December 7.

Parking Restrictions:

  • South Side of West College Street: Parking will be allowed until 2 p.m.
  • North Side of West College Street: No parking will be permitted at any time.
  • After 2: p.m., all parking on West College Street (between Professor and Main streets) will be prohibited to allow vendors to set up.
  • Deliveries: Business deliveries will be accommodated during this time; please coordinate with police as necessary.
  • Towing Notice: Any cars remaining in parking spots on West College Street after 2 p.m. will be towed due to the event setup requirements.

We understand that these changes may cause some inconvenience. We encourage you to participate in the festivities and enjoy “Walkin’ in a Winter Oberlin”!
