If my Winter Term is an indication of how the semester will go, it will be a crazy but fulfilling semester.

Welcome to the second installment of Ask a Friend, in which four of my fellow Obies share their thoughts on the ups and downs of college life.

As I settle back into a community I will be with for the next 1.5 years, I want to pay homage to the places and people who have hosted me this past year.

Weather problems aside, it's been lovely to get the chance to really explore Oberlin's campus with this project.

Reflections on my most emotionally charged semester yet.

I'm not a Theater major, and I've never actually taken a theater class. But I've found that there's a vibrant student theatre scene on campus, and that there are opportunities for non-majors to act in the department shows that happen each semester.

A rejection is never the end. It isn't a failing or a miscalculation or a detour on the path of young adulthood. In fact, for me, a rejection was the impetus to drive myself toward acceptance elsewhere.

For the student-athlete considering going abroad -- I say go for it.
