Most Obies will tell you about the awesome project they worked on over Winter Term, but it's not all work and no play!

I've spent the last three weeks in California traveling down the coast and then back up again. My project has been creating a chapbook of poetry. Suffice it to say, this has been the most incredible Winter Term.

Here's a reflection on my first semester of college, why it was rough, and how I came to see it as a true lesson in optimism.

Finals are really tough. This is how I got through them.

December 18th being the day I came home. My feelings on winter term, David Bowie, and turning 20.

Winter Term is what you make it! For me, it's all about going out into the world and taking risks - and I love it.

I've only attempted this daring stunt once before, and that quickly faded into obscurity. Before I started working on this story, the longest piece I had ever written for the screen was a teleplay of 40 pages or so. In comparison, feature-lengths are at least 90 pages, give or take, so I knew this project would keep me busy during my birthday month.

When it comes to being a college student and experiencing exhaustion, there is a lot of similarity across experience but general silence around what to (proactively) do about it. So let's talk!
