Student Services: Policies and Fees
Junior and Senior, Performance Diploma, Artist Diploma, and Master of Music Recitals
Degree recitals in Kulas Recital Hall, Warner Concert Hall, Fairchild Chapel, Stull Hall, Clonick Hall, The Birenbaum, The Cat in the Cream, and Finney Chapel are automatically recorded and streamed at a flat rate of $75.
To cancel recording services, you must fill out a Service Cancellation Form at least one week prior to your recital date, available online here.
Please note: The fee for streaming only is $70; the fee for recording only is $50.
Degree recitals held in classrooms will not be automatically recorded. To have your Bibbins or Central classroom recital recorded, please fill out a Request for Audio Services form online at least two weeks prior to your recital. The fee for classroom recording is $85. We cannot guarantee that we will be able to provide recording services.
Any recording setup requiring additional microphone placement (such as onstage seating), will have an additional $35 fee. Audio Services must be notified at least two weeks prior to your recital date.
Please note: No video recording of the live stream feed is produced.
If you require sound reinforcement for a degree recital, a request form must be submitted at least two weeks prior to your recital date.
All student fees are billed directly to your student account.
To schedule a recording session you must fill out a Request for Audio Recording Services Form . Requests must be received at least two weeks prior to your scheduled event.
The fee for recording sessions is $35 per hour.
Students may self-record using the equipment available in Kulas Recital Hall and Warner Concert Hall. There is no charge for this. Self-recording sessions must be scheduled through the Concert Productions Office. For recording sessions or projects in Clonick Hall please refer to the Clonick Hall webpage.
Please direct any questions about self-recording or equipment malfunctions in Kulas Recital Hall or Warner Concert Hall to Audio Services Equipment Technician, David Bechtel .
To request sound reinforcement services you must fill out a Request for Sound Reinforcement Form. Requests must be received at least two weeks prior to your scheduled event.
Con Audio provides sound reinforcement services at no charge for recorded student degree recitals, however a request form must be submitted. If you are requesting sound reinforcement for a dress rehearsal you will be subject to a $35.00 per hour fee.
For all other sound reinforcement requests, the fee is $35 per hour.
To request editing services you must fill out a Request for Editing Services. The fee for editing is $35 per hour.
Audio Services Guidelines
All necessary forms for audio services requests are online and on the bulletin boards outside of the Audio Services office, Robertson 129. You will receive confirmation that we have received your request. If you do not receive confirmation, please contact Audio Services.
We provide services in Warner Concert Hall, Kulas Recital Hall, Finney Chapel, The Cat in the Cream, Fairchild Chapel, The Birenbaum and David H. Stull Recital Hall. Audio Services are not available on Mondays, and may not be available during fall, winter, and spring breaks; and holidays.
Remember: You must reserve hall time with Concert Productions before you request any services from Audio Services.
