One Oberlin Oversight and Advisory Committee 2024
Building a still stronger culture of innovation and creativity that will ensure Oberlin remains a leader through its next century.
As we approach the fifth anniversary of One Oberlin — having implemented virtually all of its recommendations, even through the challenges of the pandemic — Oberlin is thriving, and is in a once-in-a-generation moment of opportunity. With the financial runway created by One Oberlin, we now have the chance to be ambitious about what this institution will become in its third century, adding to our historic core strengths with new programs and structures that build on our academic and artistic leadership.
President Ambar has charged the One Oberlin Oversight Advisory Committee (OOOAC), which was constituted as part of the One Oberlin recommendations, to lead the institution in its next phase of planning. The committee is charged with gathering and examining significant opportunities that enhance our mission and values, deepen and extend our excellence, and have the potential to generate significant new revenue that we can reinvest in our core enterprise.
