Obie Leaders Certificate Series
Obie Leaders is Student Leadership's Emerging Leadership Certificate Series. Engage in six workshops to delve deeper in leadership topics, build your leadership potential, and put together a leadership portfolio.
Program Goals
- Deepen understanding of leadership through theory and application
- Explore personal identities and their relationship to leadership
- Develop a definition of leadership based on theory and experiences
- Apply leadership learning to lives as students and set goals for future leadership endeavors
Earning Your Certificate
- Complete a leadership pre-assessment
- Complete two leadership coaching sessions with Director of Student Leadership & Civic Engagement, Jess Sonney
- Attend all six workshops hosted in a semester (or arrange make-ups with facilitator)
- Complete your leadership portfolio with activities and reflections
- Complete a final reflection presentation and leadership post assessment
Spring 2024 Workshop Dates
Spring 2024 Obie Leaders Workshops will take place on February 19, March 4, March 18, April 8, April 22, and May 6 from 5-6:30 pm.
