Biography
Yoshiko Tsompanos coordinates Oberlin’s Business, Consulting, and Finance Career Community and the Ashby Business Scholars Program. Prior to Oberlin, she harnessed her industry experience to build out a sales department and outsource a marketing team at a business-to-business-facing manufacturing firm. In that role, she supported all business activities—from inbound logistics and operations to outbound logistics and service—as well as licensing and collaborating with multistate operators for entry into the Ohio market. Previously, she led co-branding initiatives for cultivation, dispensary, and processing facilities in Ohio and Pennsylvania, and promoted brand awareness in an industry once resistant to traditional marketing and sales channels.
Tsompanos earned a Bachelor of Science in education from Cleveland State University and an MBA from Louisiana State University. She enjoys traveling to new places, competitive sports, and spending quality time with her family and friends.
