Biography

I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) working with a wide variety of client presentations. I primarily work with the young adult population and have extensive experience working with trauma, anxiety, depression, and phase of life concerns. Eating disorders have also made their way toward the top of my experience and training list. In addition to my therapy practice, I am a wellness consultant and build customized programming for individuals and organization, with an emphasis on workplace wellness. My current research in my doctoral program is on the incorporation of therapy dogs for healthcare employees. As a dog trainer and therapy dog handler, I greatly value the human-animal connection and hope to continue building on this specialization. My areas of teaching currently include lifespan development, abnormal psychology, clinical psychology, and advanced seminar on therapy dogs.
