Biography
Siir Cole-Chambers is a Director of Success and Success Coach within the Center of Student Success. He brings a unique view of DEI and is passionate about humanizing the educational experience for everyone. He received a bachelor's degree in Music Performance from Belmont University and a master’s degree in Divinity with a concentration in Black Church Studies from Vanderbilt University.
Going through these programs as a Black, transmasculine, and neurodivergent person, he came to recognize many gaps in support both within highereducation and life beyond. Siir values holistic wellness, facilitating conversation on taboo topics, encouraging others to be their fullest selves, and shifting generational consciousness around Black humanity and spirituality. For him, work is not all about the office or climbing the corporate ladder, but rather "a method to practice what you teach.”
In his free time you can find him hanging out with his family and cat, watching reruns of his favorite shows, or pondering all the connections of life.
