Biography
Ryo grew up in Japan, Vietnam, and Tunisia before coming to Oberlin as an undergraduate student. She earned her BA in math and economics with minors in linguistics and East Asian studies and a concentration in education studies at Oberlin College in 2022. She has been working at Oberlin since. She worked with the Writing Associates program and ESOL for 2 years before transitioning to her current role as the Manager of Arts and Sciences Special Projects.
As a Third Culture Kid and former international student, Ryo is passionate about supporting students who come from different linguistic and cultural backgrounds.
