Robert Lewis Kahn Track
Training and competition in track takes place at Robert Lewis Kahn Track, a joint complex with Fred Shults Field for soccer and lacrosse. Kahn track features an eight-lane, all-weather running track, a product of Beynon Sports Surfaces, a poured urethane surface that is widely considered one of the top competition surfaces in the area. The complex opened in the fall 2006 sports season and also is available for use by the community.
The track is named for Oberlin benefactor Kahn ’55, a student athlete who lettered in track, cross country, and tennis.
The soccer and lacrosse field is named for longtime Oberlin coach Fred Shults ’54.
