The curtain has closed on many professional, community, and college theaters throughout the country due largely to the global pandemic. Yet those who have the audacity to reimagine the theater and the arts in new ways are discovering the options are varied and rewarding.

Welcome to the Virtual World of the Allen Memorial Art Museum

Light streams inside the King Sculpture Court of the Allen Memorial Art Museum (AMAM) and onto the statues around the perimeter. To the left, a long narrow hallway lined with artifacts from Greece leads to other galleries. Where to go first? Since this is a virtual visit the museum is always open so time is not an issue. I grab a cup of coffee from the kitchen and lean back in my chair.

Talking Sustainability with Oberlin’s Green EDGE Fund

October was Sustainability Month at Oberlin, and no group is more dedicated to its celebration than the Green EDGE Fund. Composed of 10 student board members, the organization distributes funds to community-based projects dedicated to environmental sustainability.

More than 120 Participants Took Part in Presidential Tire Flip Challenge

Each competitor was allotted one minute to flip the tire as many times as they could. At the end of the four hour event, 2,062 flips were made for an average of 16.8 per round.
