David Shostak ’20, a native of San Francisco, played four years on the varsity soccer team and graduated with a major in biology, a concentration in cognitive science, and a minor in environmental science. Oberlin Named Top Fulbright Producer for 2021-2022

The U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs has recognized Oberlin College for the 13th consecutive year as a Top Producer of Fulbright Students. Oberlin is fifth among baccalaureate institutions, sending nine scholars to study abroad during the 2021-2022 academic year

Geology Research Team Joins Winter Campaign to Study the Great Lakes

Assistant Professor of Geology Rachel Eveleth is collaborating with scientists from more than a dozen universities in the Winter Grab, a first-of-its-kind research initiative to better understand the ecology of the Great Lakes. One of the world’s largest surface freshwater ecosystems, the Great Lakes account for 84 percent of North America's surface fresh water and about 21 percent of the world's supply of surface fresh water.
