A large flat puck glides down a long plastic rink. Where this disc lands will determine the next move so the players watch intently as it slides. This friendly game on a cool winter day serves as inspiration for this week’s photo series.

Winter Oberland returned to Wilder Bowl earlier this month with games, hot cocoa, fire pits, and ice sculpting demonstrations. We visit some of the festivities that took place there, and make stops at the Clonick Recording Studio and pond near Bibbins Hall.
