Conducted by Raphael Jiménez on December 6, 2016, this concert by the Oberlin Chamber Orchestra featured Professor of Violin Gregory Fulkerson in his performance of the Beethoven Violin Concerto. This was Fulkerson’s farewell performance with large ensembles. He will be retiring from Oberlin Conservatory of Music this spring after 34 years on the faculty.
