Biography
Minah Park will join our business faculty in the fall of 2025. She is currently a PhD candidate in management and human resources, specializing in entrepreneurship, at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Minah holds a master’s degree in chemical and biomolecular engineering and completed her doctoral studies in operations management at Yonsei University.
Her research aims to explore two critical areas: the formative experiences that influence individuals' entrepreneurial tendencies and the gender gap within entrepreneurship. Minah's overarching objective is to conduct high-quality, impactful studies that deepen the understanding of the supply side of entrepreneurship, with a particular emphasis on women.
Her dissertation investigates the factors contributing to the "leaky pipeline" phenomenon in entrepreneurship, which refers to the attrition of female talent at various stages of the entrepreneurial process. Specifically, her research examines women who possess entrepreneurial potential or express intentions to engage in entrepreneurship, focusing on their experiences within the entrepreneurship pipeline.
