Biography
Greetings and thank you for your interest in Oberlin. When people find out that I am an Oberlin alumnus, they inevitably ask me why I chose Oberlin. I tell them about the world-class faculty and the classes they teach, the concerts, the Allen Memorial Art Museum, the Apollo (our two-screen movie theater), and the passionate students. As I travel and speak with students and family members, I highlight the same things about Oberlin today: our professors are engaging and always interested in trying new things in the classroom; music permeates the campus, whether it’s being performed by students or faculty or touring musicians; and our students are committed to using their education to give back and make the world a better place.
Good luck with your college search. I look forward to seeing you on campus or when I travel in the fall. Should you have any questions at all, please do not hesitate to contact me.
