Biography
Jamie Jacobs Overstreet joined Oberlin College in 2012 and has worked as the program coordinator for the Studio Art and Art History Departments for the duration of her time at the institution.
Prior to her time at Oberlin, she studied International Business at Hofstra University in Long Island, New York. Her prior professional experience includes supporting roles in the entertainment industry and Administrative Management in the commercial real estate sector.
During her time at Oberlin, she has maintained an active leadership role in OCOPE, the Oberlin College Office and Professional Employees Union with a focus on solidarity-building.
In 2023 she was named the recipient of the YB Award for extraordinary service, an annual honor awarded to an Oberlin staff member who demonstrates daily commitment and performance in advancing Oberlin’s strategic goals through exemplary service.
