Jack Calcut Coauthored Paper to Appear in "Contemporary Mathematics"

Professor of Mathematics Jack Calcut and Oberlin student Liam Axon '21 have coauthored a paper on the end sum of surfaces---a procedure for combining infinite surfaces. Their article will appear in a forthcoming volume of the book series Contemporary Mathematics published by the American Mathematical Society.

2014-2015 Excellence in Teaching Awards Winners

Six faculty members from the College of Arts and Sciences and the Conservatory of Music received the Excellence in Teaching Award for the 2014-2015 academic year.
