Positioned in a near future U.S.A. in the midst of a total climate crisis, this lean version of William Shakespeare's Julius Caesar will tackle themes of choice and destiny in the Kander Theater next winter term. Surmounting the original text with a reduced, versatile cast and a minorly adapted script, the thrilling political drama will plunge the edge of its critique into civil duty and the deflection of responsibility in the face of imminent total destruction.
