Omar at Oberlin | Roundtable Discussion: Narratives of Enslaved Individuals

Faculty members Meredith Gadsby, Charles Peterson, and Caroline Wood Newhall discuss historical and literary context for Omar—the narratives of enslaved individuals including a comparison of autobiographical vs. biographical accounts and the specific narratives of enslaved Muslims.
