Omar at Oberlin Contra Dance

The Oberlin Contra Dance Club and Oberlin Conservatory of Music co-present a special Contra Dance in commemoration of Oberlin's upcoming performances of the opera Omar, by Rhiannon Giddens '00, in which folk musical traditions and folk dance are intertwined in the opera score.

Join the Contra Dance Club, Omar performers, and the Conservatory for a fun evening of dance and music! Please enter the Shanks Health and Wellness Center through the northern-most doors on Woodland Street. Beginner lesson at 7:30 pm, Dance begins at 8:00 pm. Open to the public! No tickets required.
