Oberlin Screenwriters Intensive Screening of "Rustin"

Rustin is a movie produced by Barack and Michelle Obama’s Higher Ground. It is written by Julian Breece and Oscar winner Dustin Lance Black. The movie follows the story of Bayard Rustin, a civil rights activist who organized the 1963 March on Washington. Rustin faced racism and homophobia as an out gay Black man in the 1960s.
