The new Oberlin Film Society (OFS) will screen The Shining (1980) at the Apollo. Based on a Stephen King novel, the film presents the descent into insanity of an aspiring novelist who takes a job as winter caretaker for a haunted mountain resort hotel with his wife and clairvoyant son.
