“No great genius has ever existed without some touch of madness." - Aristotle
ODC 2024 will be an evening-length dance-theater work inspired by the work and life, the genius and madness, of Auguste Rodin and his lover, Camille Claudel. Holly Handman-Lopez will collaborate with Tom Lopez (TIMARA), Emily Barton (Creative Writing), Edwin Huizinga (Baroque Violin), Jeremy K. Benjamin (Lighting Design), Laura Carlson-Tarantowski (Scenic Design), Chris Flaharty (Costumes), and Zé Kielwagen & students (Sculptures) to present the world of the brilliant sculptors; their collective artistic genius and their passionate disastrous love affair.
