Last Forest Enterprises: Enhancing Livelihoods in South India

Join Oberlin Shansi in welcoming Mathew John, co-founder of Keystone Foundation, an NGO in the Nilgiris, South India. Mathew promotes Keystone's approach in coalescing traditional forest livelihoods, conservation and social enterprise. He specializes in organic agriculture, fair trade and slow food. This presentation will highlight Last Forest Enterprises, which empowers indigenous communities in the Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve and conserves biodiversity through unique, handcrafted products.
