As part of the North American British Music Studies biennial conference held at Oberlin in July, 2024, please join us for a fascinating conversation with three of the most exciting British composers alive today. Moderated by Dr. Lucy Walker, former lecturer at King’s College, London and at The Red House in Aldeburgh (the former home of Benjamin Britten, now part of Britten Pears Arts), this discussion will feature award-winning composers Errolyn Wallen, Kerry Andrew, and Sarah Angliss. These composers represent a broad range of expertise and experience within British music today,

This event is free and open to the public, especially members of the City of Oberlin community, citizens of Lorain County, and members of the Oberlin College & Conservatory community. It is partly sponsored by the Community Foundation of Lorain County and the Division of Musicology of Oberlin College & Conservatory.
