Making a Mini Forest
To restore native forests and combat climate change, people around the world are embracing the Miyawaki Method to plant "mini-forests." The feature-length documentary Making a Mini-Forest observes in real time the brainstorming, planning, planting, and establishment care that goes into making a mini-forest. Each story contributes to a bigger picture, of passionate individuals taking civic action to re-green their cities.
Directed by Oberlin-born filmmaker Angelina Lee, narrated by Hannah Lewis, author of Mini-Forest Revolution. The film zigzags across land and sea to meet ten different organizations in four languages (with English subtitles) in France, Belgium, Germany, the United Kingdom, and the Netherlands.
