Every year, the department of Comparative American Studies features a Keywords Panel that invites CAS faculty, staff, students, and other related faculty/colleagues to share how a keyword we have chosen is reflected in the teaching/scholarship/engagement that you do. This year we have chosen the keyword "Diversity".  We have chosen this word as an opportunity to reflect and engage with the current political and academic context in which diversity is increasingly contested and interrogated for its importance and value.

Panelists will include faculty members Ana Perry of the Art History Department; Christine Wu of the the Psychology Department; Dinah George of the Environmental Studies Department; Leila Ben-Nasr of Comparative American Studies Department; and Raechel Jolie of the Comparative American Studies and Gender, Sexuality & Feminist Studies Departments.  It will be moderated by Gina Pérez.
