Conversations with Counsel: Democracy Coming to a Polling Station Near You

It's election season! Come learn about the college's initiatives and goals of voter registration, fostering strong voting turnout, and engagement of the community on the upcoming issues and candidates. Jess Sonney of OC Votes will be presenting on OC Votes' activities and initiatives for Fall 2024, and Oberlin College's Assistant General Counsel Justin Younker will discuss the college's compliance obligations during elections vis-à-vis the institution's status as a 501(c)(3) organization.

Registration is preferred; walk-ins are welcome!  Conversations with Counsel sessions are open to current staff, faculty, and students of Oberlin.
