Concert: Jinjoo Cho & Mathieu Herzog, ENCORE-Gates Mills Music & Ideas Festival

This program features guest artists from The ENCORE-Gates Mills Music & Ideas Festival—world-renowned violinist and Encore Chamber Music Institute founder Jinjoo Cho in concert with violist Mathieu Herzog and Oberlin collabroative pianist Hyunsoo Kim.

The ENCORE-Gates Mills Music & Ideas Festival is a summer season of arts-inspired learning through chamber music. During the course of the three-week festival, Encore hosts more than 40 public events for audiences of all ages in Northeast Ohio. The organization is dedicated to making connections by tying musical programs and academic conversations around a central theme such as climate change, racial justice, and disability in the arts.
