Oberlin alum Eric Haag ’90 will lead a seminar, “Of Oxygen and Orgasms: Two Billion Years of Sex and the Evolution of Human Traits."

Eric Haag ’90, PhD, is an evolutionary biologist studying the evolution of sex using nematodes as a model system. He is a professor of biology and director of the Biological Sciences Graduate Program at the University of Maryland. His forthcoming book, The Other Big Bang: The story of Sex and Its Human Legacy, will be released in December.

This event is sponsored by the departments of Biology, Sociology, and GSFS, the Montie-Block Lecture Series, the Mead-Swing Lectureship, and the Office of Alumni Engagement.
