With documentary filmmaker John Scheinfield '75. What The Hell Happened To Blood, Sweat & Tears? is a political thriller about a classic American rock band that unknowingly found themselves in the crosshairs between the Right and the Left in a polarized America with severe career repercussions. This incredible, never-before-told story involves the State Department, the White House, three oppressive communist regimes and documentary footage suppressed for over 50 years. All with frightening parallels between what was happening in the world in 1970 and what’s going on today. Film length: 111 minutes with credits. Q&A will follow. From pop culture to politics, sports and religion, ABC, PBS and Netflix to the Telluride, Toronto and Venice film festivals, Emmy®, Grammy®, three-time Writers Guild Award and Critics Choice Award nominee John Scheinfeld is a critically acclaimed documentary filmmaker with a broad range of subjects and productions to his credit. All are welcome.
